Paper and Packaging Board Announces New Board Members for 2019
McLean, VA, January 3, 2019 – The Paper and Packaging Board (P+PB) announces its 2019 officers and the appointment by the USDA of four new board members nominated and elected by companies supporting the promotional program. Officers for 2019 are Jennifer L. Miller (Sappi North America), Chair; Michael Doss (Graphic Packaging International, Inc.), Vice-Chair; and, Michael Weinhold (Verso Corporation), Secretary/Treasurer.
The four newly-elected members, duly appointed by the Agriculture Secretary, Sonny Perdue, take office immediately. Representing the South Region for a term through 2019 is Erin Reynolds, Evergreen Packaging; representing the South Region through 2020 is Michael Weinhold, Verso Corporation; representing the West Region is Scott Light, Georgia-Pacific, LLC; and, representing the Midwest Region is Kingsley Shannon, Neenah Paper, both with terms that run through 2021.
Returning to the board for terms through 2021 representing the South Region are Michael Doss, Graphic Packaging International, Inc. and Steve Voorhees, West Rock.
A 12-member board of directors oversees the paper and packaging sector’s national promotion program which promotes the use of paper products and paper-based packaging.
